Arezzo, July 21, 2025 – Enrollment is now open for the three-year, professionally oriented degree program in Environmental, Construction, and Territorial Technologies ( TACT) at the University of Siena.
Teaching activities are held in person in San Giovanni Valdarno at the CGT GeoTechnologies Center; some theoretical lessons can also be attended via synchronous distance learning from Grosseto, at the Fondazione Polo Universitario Grossetano.
Laboratory activities are conducted exclusively in person in San Giovanni Valdarno. The CGT is a university campus offering 27 discounted apartments for course participants (https://geotecnologie.unisi.it/il-collegio/). Applications for admission must be submitted online by July 31st (10:00 a.m.) on the University of Siena's online secretary's portal (segreteriaonline.unisi.it).
There are 25 places available. Admission to the program will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. Numerous laboratory and internship activities are planned, allowing graduates to acquire practical skills useful for their careers.
At the end of the program, in addition to a degree, students also earn a license to practice as a graduate surveyor. The program aims to prepare qualified experts in the construction and civil and rural infrastructure sectors, and in land and environmental monitoring, capable of managing specific technical and professional activities related to environmental and land management.
The program provides the tools that facilitate the transition from traditional design, construction, and monitoring systems to digital ones based on the implementation of modern geomatics technologies (GIS, Remote Sensing, Laser Scanning, BIM).
Employment prospects include freelance work, technical positions in engineering firms, law firms, business firms, construction companies, real estate management firms, and public entities responsible for land management and control.
Employment prospects are also possible as employees in technical roles in public administrations.
